Overview

1. Veardi is the commercial name of the team of independent professionals, joint venture without legal personality, consisting of:

• Gullbrand Arvid Rune Individual Enterprise, based in Cluj-Napoca, 22/30 Poet Grigore Alexandrescu St., Cluj county, Romania, CUI. 35902677, No. Reg. Com. F12/361/2016, EUID ROONRC.F12/361/2016, represented by Arvid Gullbrand, as holder, and

• Băetică Gabriela Andreea Individual Enterprise, based in Cluj-Napoca, 29B/4 Șerpuitoare St., Cluj county, Romania, CUI 47387745, No. Reg. Com. F12/2156/2022, EUID ROONRC.F12/2156/2022, represented by Gabriela Băetica, as holder, and

• Miroțoi Irina Individual Enterprise, based in Floreşti, Floreşti Commune, 7B/14 Răzoare St., Cluj County, Romania, CUI 49663189, No. Reg. Com. F12/245/2024, EUID ROONRC.F12/245/2024, represented by Irina Miroțoi, as holder.

2. Veardi undertakes to protect and respect personal and confidential data in accordance with the provisions of European Regulation 679/2016 – GDPR and other legal acts in force regarding professional secrecy.

3. This Privacy Policy, together with any other document referred to, sets out the principles on which any personal data we collect from buyers/customers/visitors or other interested parties, or that is provided to us, will be processed, and it is an integral part of the Framework Agreement together with the Terms and Conditions document. All data subjects will be sent, in writing or verbally when the former is not possible, the notice of information regarding the collection of personal data in order to understand our views and practices regarding personal data and how we will process them and also they will be asked for their express and explicit consent.

Information collected

3. Veardi may collect and process the following personal data:

a) The information provided to us by completing various printed or electronic forms, namely name, surname, titles, physical or electronic addresses, telephone numbers. This includes, but is not limited to, the information provided at the time of registration to use the site, at the time of subscribing to the site’s services and newsletter, at the time of posting materials or when requesting services/products.

b) Veardi may also request information when consulting requests are made regarding Veardi services and when a site problem is reported by visitors;

c) If contacted, Veardi may keep a record of the correspondence;

d) Veardi may request the completion of questionnaires, such as opinion polls, which will be used for the purpose of improving services and/or diversifying the range of products sold, although their completion is not mandatory;

e) Details regarding visiting the site, including but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, regardless of whether this is necessary for its own billing purposes or otherwise, as well as the resources accessed .

f) Regarding the collaboration and provision of services, Veardi can request and receive information, documents, access credentials to IT platforms, with the delivery of the requested services.

IP addresses and Cookies

4. Veardi may collect information about the site visitor’s computer, including available IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration purposes. These are statistical data about the activity and browsing habits of users and do not identify any individual.

5. For the same reason, Veardi can obtain information about the use of the internet service in general by using a “cookie” file that is stored on the hard drive of the site visitor’s computer. They help to improve the site and to provide a better and personalized service. They allow:

• estimating the number of visitors and ways of using the site;

• storing information about the visitor’s preferences, thus allowing Veardi to customize the web page according to the visitor’s interests;

• increasing the speed of searches;

• recognizing the visitor when he returns to the site.

6. The visitor will be able to refuse the acceptance of cookies by activating the option in the browser used, which will allow him to refuse the installation of cookies.

Where personal data is stored

7. The aforementioned personal data are de facto considered secret and/or professional secrets and will not be transferred to third parties. This data can only be processed by authorized Veardi personnel. Entities will take all measures reasonably necessary to ensure that the data collected is processed securely and in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

8. If the information is collected manually, on physical paper (e.g. forms, coupons, etc.), it will be processed and stored only at Veardi’s headquarters or workplaces. The storage will be done under lock and access to the information will only have the authorized personnel of the entity.

9. If the information is collected through an automated system (e.g. electronic forms, e-mail, etc.), it will be processed and stored only through authorized Veardi computers and peripherals, at its headquarters and work points. All disks, HDD/SDD/CD/DVD, will be encrypted and access to information is password-based by Veardi’s authorized personnel.

10. If a password has been offered or chosen that allows the persons concerned access to certain customer account sections within the site where they have placed personal data, the responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of this password falls to them. All visitors/users will be required not to disclose access data to any third party.

11. Unfortunately, the transmission of information over the Internet is not completely secure. Although Veardi will do its best to protect the personal data collected, it cannot guarantee its security during transmission. Once the information is received, Veardi will use strict procedures and security techniques to try to prevent unauthorized access to this data.

Use of data

12. Veardi uses the information obtained in the following ways:

• to ensure that marketing materials are presented in the most effective way for buyers/customers/prospects and their computer;

• to provide information, products or services requested or in which Veardi believes that the persons concerned would be interested, if there is an explicit prior agreement for this activity;

• to fulfill the obligations arising from any of the agreements concluded between the applicants and Veardi;

• to allow access to the interactive functions of any service, when interested parties have chosen this;

• to signal changes to Veardi services;

• for promotional purposes, by posting the logo of the client’s brand and/or its products on its own platform and social networks, if it has not expressed its opposition.

13. If the interested parties have allowed Veardi to use their personal data, contact with them will be made only through the means for which they have given their consent.

14. Handling of personal data will only be done by authorized Veardi staff and only for the purpose for which it was collected.

Disclosure of Information

15.1 The aforementioned personal data are de facto considered secret and/or professional secrets and will not be transferred to third parties. This data can only be processed by Veardi staff. All reasonable steps will be taken to ensure that the collected data is processed securely and in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy. Data may only be disclosed to data subjects when they exercise their legal rights over their own data.

15.2 As an exception to the previous article, in compliance with the legislation in force, we may disclose data to our business partners, ensuring by contract that they have implemented adequate measures for the protection and security of personal data, and that this transfer of data is legitimate based on your consent or other legal basis, always in contractual matters and of supporting the good services provided. For example, we may share data with providers of accounting services, IT services, courier services, telecommunications or legal services. We can also transmit your data based on and within the limits of the legal provisions, to the courts, the police and other competent bodies of the state.

The rights of data subjects

16. Data subjects have the right to request Veardi not to process their personal data for marketing purposes. Veardi will inform data subjects, before collecting their data, if it intends to use the data for such purposes. The data subject will be given the opportunity to choose whether or not they want such processing by ticking certain boxes in the forms used to collect the data.

In accordance with European Regulation 679/2016 – GDPR – data subjects have the following main rights: the right to information, the right to access data, the right to object, the right to intervene on data, the right not to be subject to an individual decision, as well as the right to go to justice.

Veardi informs the persons concerned that in order to exercise the rights mentioned above, they can apply with a written, dated and signed communication note, sent by e-mail / post to the contact address or to the headquarters and work points of Veardi.

Access to information

17. The law in force gives the right of access to the personal information held by all data subjects. The right of access to this data can be exercised in accordance with the law.

Links from the site

18. If the Veardi site contains links to other sites and materials provided by third parties, these links are provided exclusively for the information of website visitors. Veardi has no control over the content of these sites or materials and is not responsible for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from their use by visitors.

Privacy Policy Changes

19. Any modification of the Privacy Policy will be displayed on the website www.veardi.ro and, as the case may be, will be notified by e-mail to the persons involved.
